Job Description:

• Develop lesson plans and curriculum implementation within the designated area of expertise for the students
• Advise, teach, and test students on relevant subjects
• Promote and support the school’s goal of continually increasing the overall educational standard
• Facilitate the Academic Supervisor and School Principal to follow the educational standards of the UAE as well as the Department of Education Philippines
• Be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and engaging class activities by utilizing appropriate methods of teaching, and be accountable for the progress of students
• Be a proactive member of the subject department and participate in departmental planning and development, including school aims and policies, methods of teaching, and other educational needs
• Provide mentorship to students and continually oversee their educational progress and wellbeing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in any Subject field of Education
• Minimum 2 years work experience
• Proficient in the English Language (both oral and written)
• Philippine Regulations Commissions License as a Teacher
• Attested Documents and other Documents to be approved by relevant authorities
• Knowledgeable in the K-12 Curriculum
• Basic Microsoft Office Application
• Competencies: Professionalism, strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Guidance Counselor at Far Eastern Private School in Sharjah. The Guidance Counselor will be responsible for providing student counseling, career counseling, and general counseling services to students. The Guidance Counselor will also be responsible for collaborating with teachers and parents to support student success.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Guidance Counseling, or Psychology
