Leadership

Far Eastern Private School ensures their students leave the school with leadership qualities. One might think what does it mean to have leadership qualities? For FEPS, leadership means being able to maximize and guide one’s efforts and goals through direction and motivation. Here is how we promote leadership at our school:

  • Participating in our Supreme Student Government Body
  • Promoting Academic and Extra-Curricular Clubs and Activities
  • Get more involved in sports and other outdoor activities
  • Volunteering for a cause (E.g. Environment)
  • Volunteering in internships
  • School Projects
  • Participate in all school activities that serve a strong purpose in our community

The Purpose of Leadership at FEPS

We strive to make our students lifelong learners. Through school activities and guidance from our Academic Supervisors, we enrich each and every FEPSian to practice discipline, learn independence, inspire others, develop a strong sense of situational awareness, become more responsible, to be able to communicate decisively and think critically. These are some of the qualities we advocate to help our students develop a growth mindset. As educators, it is our imperative right to give our students an active and central role in education.

With all of this, the holistic approach will always be guided and supported by the school faculty. Our team at FEPS serves their extensive experience in supporting our students throughout the entire academic school year. Our Guidance Counselor and School Activity Coordinator are hands-on with every school activity, and our Vice-Principal and School Principal oversee the overall performance and well-being of our Fepsian Students.

Leadership is also formed at home. Through PTA Meetings and our Local Advisory Board with Parents, both educators and parents work in harmony to ensure all that we do is for the sole benefit of learning for our students. Our parents provide their guidance and advice that help us better provide a strong sense of leadership to our FEPSian students.
