(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home4/k1e1g1a4/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114Providing our students with guidance and tools equipped to give something back to the community encourages stronger humanitarian values. With this, we ensure our students become well-versed and gain more knowledge in understanding of the concept of helping others. Our school has been involved with many community and environmental activities. It helps our school to build stronger relationships and create a bigger bridge of communication with our community.
Our school has participated with many NGO’s in the UAE (e.g. Emirates Environmental Group) and other Filipino Community Groups on providing community services such as “Beach Clean-Up, Planting Trees” and other environmental activities.
Our FEPSians who give back to the community end up performing better in school with both academic and non-academic activities. This is because these projects enhanced their way of thinking and in return, they connect with the real world, outside of their school.
We advocate for our students to always volunteer in helping to make our environment better. We also encourage our staff and students to bring more awareness on how we can make our earth healthier, the climate better, reducing plastic and other non-renewable resources, all for the sole purpose of helping our environment. We provide our students with monthly activities such as World Environment Day, Earth Day, and other events that demonstrate the importance of environmental protection.
Not only do these projects give our students a sense of belonging, it also gives them a purpose that at the end of the day, these selfless acts are not for themselves, but for everyone in the community. It inspires a sense of purpose that when they leave FEPS, they will continue to care for the environment, continue to participate, and get involved with outside-community services and projects that benefit the community.
