FAR EASTERN PRIVATE SCHOOL WELCOMES DELEGATES OF SPECIAL OLYMPICS ABU DHABI 2019

Far Eastern Private School proudly hosted the delegation of the People’s Republic of China in the Host Town Program of Special Olympics Abu Dhabi World Games 2019 held on Sunday, 10 March 2019. The delegation were warmly welcomed by the administration, faculty, staff, and students of Far Eastern Private School who prepared various cultural presentations showcasing the Emirati and Philippine cultures through dances.

The 2-hour program was truly appreciated by the athletes of determination who were grouped accordingly to learn the culture of the UAE and the Philippines through various activities such as Arnis exercise, a Filipino martial art; Emirati Dance; and by competing in different Filipino indigenous games. Likewise, the athletes were amused in getting henna tattoo and captured the fun of the event in the photo booth prepared by the Supreme Student Council.

The school management is indeed grateful to the government of Sharjah for giving Far Eastern Private School a rare opportunity to be a part of this international sporting and humanitarian event where the people of determination are recognized and empowered. A big thank you to the entire FEPS family including teachers, staff, and students for making the event a successful one!
